　　一、 地理場(chǎng)景分析

　　特點(diǎn)：

　　1.以獨白的形式出現：一般是司機，導游，BBC program介紹某個(gè)地方或者城市的情況

　　2.內容廣泛，簡(jiǎn)單，翔實(shí)，涉及該地方的氣候，產(chǎn)業(yè)，經(jīng)濟，歷史等

　　考點(diǎn)：

　　地名，行政區劃，人口，語(yǔ)言，主要產(chǎn)業(yè)，出產(chǎn)，氣候，優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)等

　　關(guān)鍵詞匯：

　　行政區劃：Province, state, county

　　優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)：cost of living，crime，pace of life，interesting，boring/dull

　　主要產(chǎn)業(yè)： manufacturing, processing, farming, sheep and cattle farming, fishing, fish farming, wine-making, transportation, printing ,electronics

　　天氣和氣候：highest/lowest temperature, -20°C=minus twenty degrees Celsius/Centigrade ，wet and windy, cold and wet, rainy, cloudy, flood, drought

　　語(yǔ)言：language，accent, dialect

　　二、 出題形式和做題技巧

　　這個(gè)部分得主要出題形式為填空題，選擇題目，回答問(wèn)題

　　填空題：

　　考察內容：數字的正確辨認和關(guān)鍵詞匯的拼寫(xiě)

　　做題技巧：

　　注意聽(tīng)，主要分清-teen 和-ty。就這個(gè)部分來(lái)說(shuō)，主要考察的方面大概是國家歷史，地區面積和主要產(chǎn)業(yè)。同時(shí)利用劍3－5材料以及網(wǎng)上的場(chǎng)景詞匯總結，認真記憶這些單詞。

　　解析：在正式開(kāi)始聽(tīng)錄音之前，考生可以看到這些題目，所以聽(tīng)的時(shí)候按照順序原則，先聽(tīng)到其國家面積和人口數量。注意不要混淆�？忌鷷�(huì )聽(tīng)到Slovenia is a tiny city with a surface area of approximately 20,000 square kilometers, which is about 7,800 square miles…. 后面聽(tīng)到with its 2 million citizens enjoying some of the highest rates of mobile phone ownership and internet connection access in central Europe.在整個(gè)文章中沒(méi)有直接給出人口是多少，直到后面才隱諱的出現。所以考試也是考耐心。介紹完這個(gè)國家的地理位置和歷史之后，緊接著(zhù)介紹了經(jīng)濟，談到三大支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)textile，Steel 和software，但是說(shuō)stries is software development, although two more traditional sectors employ more people: textiles and Steel. 通過(guò)這些分析，正確答案不言而喻。
