1、倍數+比較級...
(1) 倍數 as...as (意思是“A是B的幾倍”。)
I am twice as old as he. 我的年紀是他的兩倍。
He earns twice as much as he used to. 他比往常多賺二倍的錢(qián)。
An ordinary subway train, approaching the station, can be twice as loud as the loudest jet. 發(fā)出的聲音可能是噴射機的兩倍。
She studies three times as hard as I. 她用功的程度是我的三倍。
This line is four times as long as that one. 這條線(xiàn)是那條線(xiàn)的四倍長(cháng)。
We've produced twice as much cotton this year as ten years ago. 今年的棉花比十年前多了一倍。

在比較級前，還可以用over，more thant 等表示“比……倍還要多”。例如：

(2) 倍數+比較級 (意思是：A是B的幾倍)
Line A is four times the length of line B. 線(xiàn)條 A 是線(xiàn)條 B 的四倍長(cháng)。
I have five times the number of Tom’s books. 我有五倍于湯姆的書(shū)。
He has three times my money. 他的錢(qián)是我的三倍。
The river is ten times the length of the Tamsui River. 這條河的長(cháng)度是淡水河的十倍。
This street is four times shorter than that one. 這條街道比那條短四倍。

使用more...than 比較級的例句：

比較級也可使用分數、小數等數字。例如：
